Mark is the sweetest, kindest 12 year old you'll ever meet. After this week he can truly claim that he's a super hero!
After a week of headaches Mark was rushed to ER on Friday night and an MRI revealed a large mass on his brain. No child and no parent is ever prepared to deal with this news. Thankully to skillfull surgeons he underwent a 6 hour surgery on Sunday night where they were able to remove the tumor.
Mark is a true warrior in every sense of the word. He's making progress day by day and further tests are showing signs of improvement. So far no regrowth, or bleeding. He's being monitored closely and he has a long road ahead of him. The community surrounding Mark and his family has been amazing, the power of prayer and positive thinking has lifted them and kept them all fighting and hopeful.
