Love for Landyn and Family

Donation protected
I am starting this go fund me for my cousin Codilou and her husband Jason who recently had to face a parent’s worst nightmare. Their baby boy, Landyn came down with meningitis (9 months old at the time) and was left fighting for his life. They have spent almost their entire summer at his bedside. They also have other small children at home that are being taken care of by family. This obviously is a financial hardship on them not being able to work (Jason just returned to work last week) on top of the medical bills that will be piling up soon and prosthetics in Landyn’s future. There have been many of you praying for the Harrison family and they greatly appreciate it. If you feel moved, it’d be a huge help if you could donate, no amount is too small. Here are Codi’s words about Landyn’s tough road:

“We have been in the hospital with our son for the past 2 months. We were admitted to St. Vincent in Green Bay on July 4th and On July 5th Landyn was diagnosed with meningitis, shortly after his diagnosis Landyn’s oxygen level dropped and we couldn't keep his temp down, later that evening he started having seizures and the last seizure was about 8 plus minutes long and they had to sedate and intubate him after to get more control of his body. The next day we found out his organs were shutting down but he was stable enough to be transferred to Children's Hospital (Milwaukee) to be put on dialysis to help his kidneys work. The next day after being transferred we were told the worst news a parent could ever hear, Landyn was more or less brain dead and his heart was slowing down to the point of no return. He had a matter of hours to live while they tried every med they possibly could to turn things around and the very last med triggered something and he started to turn around. Heart rate came up oxygen came up, he got extubated and started breathing on his own on room air. Ever since he has been fighting very hard to get better! But with multiple organ failure came the blood loss to his hands and feet, so they had to be amputated. He will eventually get prosthetics but for now he will learn to crawl and get around just fine with physical therapy and hopefully sooner than later we will be able to take him home.”
