Love for Lacqueeta

Donation protected
Lacqueeta Oduogo is a 4th grader at Washington Elementary School in Mt. Lebanon. She has been at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh since September 3rd, receiving chemotherapy in preparation for a bone marrow transplant that occurred on September 26. Lacqueeta will be in the hospital for most of October and possibly November depending on how quickly her body accepts the new bone marrow and begins to create new blood and bone marrow cells. Until then, she is medically fragile and needs continued blood transfusions and a sterile environment while her body heals itself. Some may remember that Lacqueeta lost her father (in Kenya) last year. Her mother is not able to work as she is at the hospital around the clock with Lacqueeta. The money raised by this GoFundMe campaign will help directly support the family as her mother is not eligible for any work related financial support. We have set up this Go Fund Me site to allow donors to directly contribute to the family and help support them during this difficult time. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
