My name is Nichole Ann Marie Castro, Kelly Francis daughter on August 15th, 2018 I lost my best friend and my Mother. We are asking for help in this time of need here is what we know and have planned so far.
Around 11 AM (unsure on exact time) Misty, my youngest sister (17 years old) went into our mothers room to find our mother in bed unresponsive. Misty’s friends had just shown up as they hear Misty yelling. They called 911 and got help as soon as they could. They injected some type of medicine to try to bring her back 3 times but were unsuccessful. There was an autopsy 8/17/18. The autopsy was completed and there were no signs of foul play or anything that they could significantly rule as the cause of death so, we are waiting on results of a toxicology report. We donated her body to ScienceCare. ScienceCare is the company we are going through for this because it’s what she would have wanted if you were close to her you would know that she would have thought it was cool. We will get notified about what research was done as well as on the one year anniversary plant a tree in her honor. She has been cremated and we have received her remains.
This happens just 1 month shy of the 3 year anniversary of losing Misty’s Father Scott Alexander. She just turned 17 years old and already without both parents, about to take her first steps into life as an adult. Misty is going to be graduating high school in the next month early and as an honor roll student. We would like to provide a safe inviting environment for her to be able to pursue her dreams.
Any donations are going to be going directly to a ceremony of her life on October 20th 2018 at Tuolumne County Sheriff Posse 19130 Rawhide Rd, Jamestown, CA 95327 at 1:00pm, that will be open invitation to anyone who was her friend in her life that would want to come and support Misty for her future. Just by showing up and offering a hug would mean the world to Misty as well as the rest of her children.
Secondly we will use part of the money to care for Misty and help her in her future.
Thirdly we will use some of the money for storage to save what we can of our mothers instead of having to get rid of it. We will go through the items in the future and if we do sell anything it’s going to Misty.
Misty is at a critical time right now and she needs our support as friends and family especially after losing both her parents before she’s even an adult. Please donate or share. Even 1$ is appreciated.
