Love for Harmony Farm Sanctuary

Harmony Farm Sanctuary needs your help today. The farm was created for the Central Oregon community and beyond, to provide a safe place for rescued animals and humans to connect and heal. We rescue, provide rehabilitation when needed and a forever home for our two and four-legged friends. We currently have 85 animals! Our animals include: horses, donkeys, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, bunnies, chickens, turkeys and ducks!
As an all volunteer 501(c)(3) non profit organization, we are asking for your monetary support to raise $25,000 by the end of this year. We've been given the opportunity to purchase an incredibly beautiful tiny home on wheels for the farm, to help us be continually sustainable year after year. The home is aptly named "Love", and we plan to use it to extend love to the community. With the popularity of tiny homes, our plan is to provide an opportunity and experience for others to visit, stay overnight and enjoy this farm and the surrounding community. In addition to renting it to overnight guests, we plan to use the tiny home to provide year-round mental health therapy for people in this beautiful setting. We hope to double the mental health therapy services (from 750+ hours in 2016) provided to youth and adults at the farm by renting the space to other therapists.
We anticipate that the money raised by renting out the tiny home in these ways will both further our mission and increase our self-sustainability.
By providing free-of-charge opportunities for children, families, local schools (we host the Sisters Life Skills Class weekly) and other local youth and community organizations, we see first-hand how the experience is enriching their lives. They are learning about mindfulness, living in the moment, forgiveness, compassion and love from these rescued farm animals. The symbiosis between the human-animal bond is something that makes this farm extremely special and unique.The ripple effect is immeasurable.
