<div>Money is such an interesting thing, isn’t it? Some people attract it, others hoard it, some disdain it — but we all need it, at least for basic life needs.

</div>

<div>My brother and I often giggle about who and what we would support if we ever won the lottery or suddenly became wealthy. It hasn’t happened yet 

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>What *has* happened, however, is that his wife of 38 years, Lee, suffered a massive brain injury in the early hours of September 6th. Thank God for Grand Isle Rescue, who were at their home in just a few minutes and supported her until she arrived at UVM Medical Center in Burlington, VT. The decision to operate was made with the hope that she would live to see her first grandchild, whose birth is imminent.

<div>Their only child, Mae, and her husband live in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mae is too far along in her pregnancy to safely make the flight or the drive to Vermont.

</div>

<div>At this point, we are unable to predict the outcome. Lee is showing very slow signs of recovery. As you can imagine, with a traumatic brain injury, there is no way to know how much recovery we can expect.

</div>

</div>

<div>Those of you who know me also know I would do anything to help. Sadly, the only thing I can do right now is love my brother, laugh periodically, and try to lighten the space.

</div>

</div>

<div>I’m asking my healer friends to send Lee your prayers and healing through whatever practice you follow. And I’m asking all of you to generously share what you can. If she survives, this will be a long, long road — and they will need as much love, light, and financial support as you can give.

</div>

<div>We appreciate you more than I can put into words because…..truly?……. are no words for this sort of thing. Thank you for sharing this with our family and friends.  I love you ❤️
