Love and Healing for Patches

On July 22, 2017 my niece took Patches out for a walk and she took his leash off of his harness thinking he would listen as he does with me but being that he is not fully acquainted with her he took off and ran as fast as he could in the busy streets of New York. He was no where to be found and for an hour my family and I went on a hunt and search for little Patches. It was then I received a call from The Vet that a couple found him and brought him to the animal hospital. They wouldn't give me any information until I was physically there at the emergency unit where Patches was. As soon as I got there I was informed that Patches was hit by a car, a cab to be exact. He suffered multiple injuries, some very serious that need around the clock attention. I know not everyone is an animal lover like me and that's ok but Patches is the little light of my life and getting him the care he needs is my priority. His exams are costly, as is the the around the clock care he will need at the hospital for the next few days. So I'm asking all my friends and family to please help me get to our goal of $5200 so that we can get Patches the care he needs so that he may recover fast and comfortably. Any little bit helps, and please repost this story on your page and help us get Patches' back home.
