Lourdes Fund for Puerto Rico Family

Dear Friends and Family,
I never thought I would be in this situation, but I have to ask for help,  I have family in Puerto Rico who were affected by Hurricane Maria as did countless others in the island. A hurricane like this had not hit our island since 1932 or earlier, and the whole island is without power,  and communications are mostly down and there is a need for water and food as well.  My family mostly resides in Anasco, Puerto Rico area, near el Mani of Mayaguez, lots of flooding, there did a lot of damage to my family there who live in Rincon areas as well.  My family form my father side lives up in the mountains of Puerto Rico, near Marias, Mayaguez, a place called Barrio Quemado.  They have no electricity, no water, and some suffered damage to their homes as well (roofs especially).  I want to help them get generators and money to buy food, things to protect themselves from mosquitoes etc or what they need to rebuild and replace their clothes, furniture and appliances they need like ACs.  I grew up in Puerto Rico and have always maintained my connections there, my dad, who is 83 lives up there with my stepmom, which you can see in the picture here,  and so does some of my sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces and cousins, aunts and uncles, and countless friends.  Any help you can give, is greatly appreciated, it will help my family help themselves rebuild and get back to as close to normal as they can despite the material loss, we just want them to get back on their feet.    Thank you and may God bless each and everyone of you.
