Lourd Martin Uy passed away November 14, 2020 in Virginia Beach. Martin was born on May 20, 1983. He was a graduate of St. Paul Christian School in Guam.
Martin Uy was a jolly fellow who loved to tell jokes and make others smile and laugh. He loved to read and share his thoughts and knowledge with those around him. Martin also loved to cook and would put together home-cooked meals for family and friends. He loved to try out new recipes and tweak it to make it his own. His curry chicken was an all-time favorite request.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Alexander and Katty Uy; siblings, Kitt Baron Uy and Katherine Uy Del Mundo; brother-in-law, William Jeffrey Del Mundo; niece, Alexis, and nephews, Kieron and Liam; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Martin’s family would like to ask for your thoughts and prayers during this exceedingly difficult time. Because of government guidelines and limiting wakes and services, the family have reluctantly decided to have him cremated instead. When the world returns to normalcy and friends and family can safely congregate, the family will give Martin a proper send off he so truly deserves.
Thank you for showing your love and support.
