Help for Louise and the Girls

On December 1st we lost Richard Rampersaud after a 9 1/2 year fight against Vascular Ehlers-Danlos. Richard's journey began with a life altering  aortic disection in May 2005. He was saved by the wonderful doctors at Washington Hospital Center. From that moment on Richard defied all the odds and lived long after the doctors predicted. We are all saddened by the loss but none more so than his wife, Louise, and his two daughters, Olivia (15) and McKenna (11).  This fund was started for Louise, Olivia and McKenna.

As many of you know, a long term illness has many complications and issues for loved ones. Extensive medical bills and the inability for Richard to work has caused a great financial strain on the family. This fund will help Louise maintain stability for Olivia and McKenna and hopefully relieve some of the worry she is feeling. 

Many friends and relatives have asked what they could do for Louise. It is our hope that this can be shared and the funds that are raised will help to pay for some of the repairs that need to be done in the house, medical bills as well as household bills and possibly a college fund for Olivia and McKenna.
