Tragically on the morning of April 20th Louise passed away. She was driving home and the road had washed out due to flooding in our area , she never seen that the road ahead of her was gone and her car went over and sadly Louise did not survive.
She leaves behind her loving husband John and her children and grandchildren.
However an entire community is mourning the loss of this special woman.
Louise and John have dedicated their entire lives to helping everyone. As stated on the news they are pillars in the community.
Together John and Louise showered love and acceptance to the less fortunate. They didnt have much financially but what they did and do have is alot of heart, love and dedication and they always shared what they did have with those around them.
Over the years they fostered children with special needs, opened their home to the elderly, brought in stray animals, rescued domestic animals and wildlife alike.
Their biggest undertaking however was running Maison Luskville . For decades John and Louise ran a recovery home for men who battled drug and alcohol addiction and mental health issues. They seem nearly 1400 men stay in their home (maybe more) .The lives they touched are countless. Not only did they house these men, they extended the help to the families of these men as well.
That big blue house was so warm and inviting and a lifesaver for many. They showered love and ministered the love of God to all that crossed their path. You could always stop by for a chat and were always greeted with a smile.
To this day they are still helping and housing people. Their home has always had an open door to those in need.
However John is now mourning the loss of his partner, his love, his wife. Times like these inevitably come with a financial burden.
I feel so strongly that we should all come together and give back to this family who did nothing but give of themselves for their entire lives.
Louise is greatly missed but her smile advice and love will be remembered forever. She was always taking care of others and their families . Let's help take care of hers now in this tragic time.
Thank you all in advance for your help and prayers for her family during this difficult time.
