Dear Friends,
Please help the family of Louie Sandoval, who passed away on Sunday, January 28th at the age of 56. Louie is survived by his wife of 29 years, Nancy; children Jordan (girlfriend Tanne), Lauren and Kyla; grandson Stetson; mother Dora Sandoval; father Presiliano Sandoval and wife Joanne; siblings, Jessica, Anthony and wife Mary, Peter and wife Cindy, Joyce, and Jeffery; sister-in-law, Mary Lopez and many other family members and friends.
Louie was a bright light in the Los Alamos community. Known to so many through his many activities...LANL Teamster, LAHS activity bus driver, NMAA basketball referee, Immaculate Heart of Mary member and most importantly, devoted father and husband.
Louie was passionate about sports and was a standout basketball player here in Los Alamos. That passion continued as he helped his children with their sports careers - Jordan in baseball and Kyla in volleyball. Louie rarely missed a practice and attended every game, often driving the bus.
During his brief but valiant fight with cancer, numerous medical bills accrued, forcing Louie and Nancy to use their childrens' college savings to pay for them. In addition to the medical bills (that are still coming in), there will be funeral expenses. The biggest cost, of course, will be providing for the family with only one income.
Those that knew Louie knew him to be gentle, kind and willing to help anyone in need. Now his family needs your help. Please consider making a donation to assist the family through this difficult time. Thank You!!
