Loui’s Eye Operation

Hi everyone I’m fundraising for Lou’i who was a stray abandoned kitten who was brought into the PDSA by a lady who found him but couldn’t keep him but the PDSA said they couldn’t take him . I was waiting with my own cat Lola to see the vet who herself and her sister Layla were abandoned by a bus stop two years ago only 7 weeks old when I adopted them. Shocked and astonished that the PDSA had turned this little kitten away , I immediately offered to take him myself and intended to take him to the RSPCA animal hospital but while waiting to see the vet I grew more concerned for the kitten who was dirty, clearly under nourished and had a closed swollen eye. I approached the receptionist and asked if I could get the vet to take a look at this little kitten and she replied that as I had my other two cats registered with them I would have to take responsibility for the kitten and pay to see the vet, so I did! I registered this beautiful baby boy Lou’i. Several visits later I noticed a dome over his I so immediately took him back to the vet and unfortunately have been told that Lou’i has a abscess through his eye and on the verge of rupturing and that he will need to have an operation to remove his eye Cost £400. The vet has now also told me he needs to be 2kg to have the operation, but he will soon be there as he eats like a horse ☺️ at last weigh in he was 1.56 kg so really glad about that! I find my self unbelievably Struggling to keep up with the regular visit to the vet and the many amounts of medication to keep this little one comfortable and out of pain. I have even sold my tv to pay for the vets and medication and will sell more if needs must. I have rang round lot’s of organisations , rescues and vets including RSPCA, Cat’s Protection, Holly Trees and Cramer plus many more for help but to no avail. It was not my intention to do a fundraiser but Lou’i needs his operation desperately. I genuinely from the bottom of my heart thank anyone that can find as little or as much as they can spare to help go towards this fundraiser for little Louis. The remainder of funds raised will help Lou’i with his Medication for his after care and vet which is why I have set the fundraiser for £500.
