The management Committee of the Loughborough Mosque have agreed to keep the mosque closed until further notice from Thursday 5th of November 2020 as per government guidelines of a second lockdown, health & safety, NHS guidelines and the surged increase of cases in our local community.

Please join us in making a difference. We are raising money in aid of THE LOUGHBOROUGH MOSQUE AND ISLAMIC CULTURAL ASSOCIATION and every donation will help.

During each of the lock downs the mosque does not qualify for any funding and all options have been exhausted. Apart from the monthly voluntary member contributions the main source of income is the Friday Jumma collections which will stop during this and previous lockdown. We are still catching up from the previous lockdown.

The funding is to cover the following:
- Deep and thoroughly covid clean of whole site
- Specialist Deep carpet clean
- Re-Application of existing covid measures
- More further and strict Covid measures for future re-opening
- Cost of winter maintenance i.e gas (boilers/radiators etc), electrical, water. This is so nothing freezes up during lockdown.
- Staff income cover
- Audio receiver service and upgrade
- Web and digital service upgrade.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us. May Allah reward you all with the highest of Jannah.
