Lottie's Vet Bills
Donation protected
On 3rd December 2020 my horse Lottie showed signs of colic and was rushed to Leahurst Equine Hospital for emergency colic surgery, however after the surgery she was still very poorly and her Cecum was very inflamed and angry. Turns out Lottie has Colitus which is causing toxins to be released into her blood and can cause her guts to fail and her body to go into toxic shock.
Lottie has been receiving intensive treatment including a plasma infusion which has helped alot. She is slowly getting better everyday but it's still a very long process and is costing approximately £1000 per day and she is only insured for £3000 so I need to find the funds to cover her vet bills.
