Sono Silvia (Rongpuk) e viaggio in Nepal da oramai quasi vent'anni.
In questo paese delle meraviglie ho conosciuto Francesco e Yam, che quando imperversava la guerra civile mi hanno accolta come una sorella nel loro sogno, un piccolo hotel, il Planet Bhaktapur. In realtà questo luogo è più una casa famiglia, dove appunto ti fanno sentire a casa e parte della loro famiglia allargata, fatta da nove ragazzi e tre ragazze e qualche altro, che con le loro famiglie rendono questo posto più unico che raro. Per me la mia casa in Nepal, un sogno.
Da un anno Yam quasi non dorme più, è ogni giorno sempre più preoccupato perché non sa più come provvedere al Planet e ai ragazzi che vi lavorano da anni e che con questo lavoro danno sostentamento alle loro famiglie.
Le famiglie sono povere e senza il lavoro dato dal turismo, ora bloccato col Covid, sta diventando difficile se non impossibile mantenere tutta la baracca, essendo totalmente assente qualsiasi tipo di protezione se non quella che lo stesso Yam ha potuto dar loro fino adesso.
Nonostante il prezioso e commovente aiuto dato fino ad ora da amici e ospiti, la chiusura del turismo che si protrae ancora, sta rendendo tutto ancora più difficile. E non si sa fino a quando la situazione sarà sostenibile.
Il Planet per vivere e far vivere chi ci lavora costa più di 50000euro all'anno. Impossibile averci tutti questi soldi se le entrate da un anno sono pari a zero. Impossibile continuare a pagare le persone che ci lavorano e provvedere a loro ancora. Oramai il poco che c'era è andato.
Chi mi conosce sa che non è la prima volta che provo ad aiutare i ragazzi del Planet e glielo devo perché quando io ho avuto bisogno mi hanno accolta, protetta, salvaguardata come mai nessuno ha fatto nella mia vita. Qui ho spesso più ricevuto che dato e ho deciso, oltre a impegnarmi ad aiutarli personalmente, di provare ancora a chiedere un aiuto globale per tutti loro, per farli vivere dignitosamente e anche per non far morire un sogno, il loro sogno, quella famiglia allargata che è una casa per tutti coloro che hanno la fortuna di capitarci.

My name is Silvia (Rongpuk) and I have been traveling to Nepal for almost twenty years now.
In this wonderland I met Francesco and Yam, who welcomed me when the civil war raged, like a sister in their dream, a small hotel, Planet Bhaktapur. In reality this place is more of a family home, where they make you feel at home and part of their extended family, made up of nine boys and three girls and a few others, who with their families make this place more unique than rare. For me this is my home in Nepal, a dream.
For a year Yam has hardly slept anymore, he is more and more worried every day because he no longer knows how to provide for Planet and the boys who have worked there for years and who, with this work, give their families sustenance.
The families are poor and without the work given by tourism, now blocked with Covid, it is becoming difficult if not impossible to maintain the whole hut, being totally absent of any type of protection other than that which Yam himself has been able to give them up to now.
Despite the precious and moving help given so far by friends and guests, the closure of tourism, which is still going on for italian tourists, is making everything even more difficult. And it is not known how long the situation will be sustainable.
Planet to live and make live those who work there costs more than 50,000 euros a year. Impossible to have all this money if the income for a year is zero. Impossible to continue paying the people who work there and providing for them again. Now the little that was there is gone.
Anyone who knows me knows that it is not the first time that I have tried to help the boys of the Planet and I owe it to them because when I needed they welcomed me, protected, safeguarded me as no one has ever done in my life. Here I have often received more than given and I have decided, in addition to committing myself to help them personally, to try again to ask for global help for all of them, to make them live with dignity and also not to let a dream, their dream, that extended family which is a home for all those who are lucky enough to be there.
