Lost our home in the New Mexico Wildfires

My name is Benito T. Sanchez, I am from Mora, New Mexico and my family and I lost everything we owned. The Calf Canyon Fire, which combined with the Hermits Peak fire, burned through our home,

My mother, who is 71 years old, lost her husband, my father, Ben F. Sanchez, to liver disease on her birthday, which was November 1, 2021; they lived in their home for approximately 30 years. Unfortunately, all our memories and possessions burned to the ground.

My Grandmother, who turns 100 in September, is living with us and is on oxygen, we had to evacuate, and because of the time we had to leave, we had only pajamas to wear.
