Help us rebuild our home at Horse Creek Retreat

Hi, We are Marc and Meagan Joseph, and we live in Arcadia, Florida

Just two years ago, we purchased the property of our dreams. We spent over 12 months working every day on converting the property from a troubled youth facility in Arcadia to our home and Florida's newest Bed & Breakfast. We live here on property with our farm animals, so we lost our business and house. We poured our heart, soul, and financial resources into this project. February 2022, we received state and local licensing and opened officially for business.

This week Hurricane Ian came through and turned our dreams into a floating nightmare. A 12-foot flood surge followed. The water rose so quickly that we had to be rescued from our window. An angel neighbor on an airboat came not only for us but all the farm animals. Five days later, our entire property is still under water making a recovery impossible. We did not have insurance due to the associated cost.

We humbly ask for donations, whether big or small, to help rebuild our dream. Through your generosity, we can begin the process of restoring our home so that, once again, those who come with their families will be able to create memories. For those who have experienced the peace, joy, and happiness at Horse Creek Retreat, our dream is to build it again.
