Loss of my beloved father

My beloved father recently passed away peacefully on this date July 20,2017
after battling kidney failure, heart disease and dialysis for over 15 years. In his home country of Cambodia he had to flee the khmer rouge and luckily him and his family were sponsered by a church in the United States. In the early 80's his family and him were brought to Illinois. From there he brought his family to where they currently live. He then continued teaching which was his passion that he did for years, both here and in his home country. When he was in better health he always put everyone ahead of him and did all he could to help out within his community. We will miss hearing him sing to his favorite songs and seeing his smile that could light up a room! He's no longer suffering but he surely put up a fight especially over the past few years. Through it all he still found pleasure in a good laugh and making a silly comment to make everyone smile. In his final days at the hospital after a two week stay, he was going to be discharged one day prior to his passing. Over the two weeks period, he had proved the entire medical staff wrong of everything they said. You will be missed by everyone but never forgotten. We all love you very much.
