Loss Of Job Due To Epilepsy

Hi everyone. My names Tamsyn Ridgway & I’m hoping you’ll take the time to read my story.

For close to 5 years I was driving heavy machinery for a company up until September of this year.


I had a seizure while on site at Eliwana in WA. I was emergency helicoptered to hospital. In which I was diagnosed with epilepsy. Due to being diagnosed with epilepsy, I was told by my employer that I no longer had a job. Obviously this was devastating to me because I loved driving heavy machinery and being diagnosed with epilepsy, then being let go from my job was a lot to take in at once.


I’m now in severe financial difficulty. I’m not the type of person to admit that I’m struggling or ask for help.. but now I’m reaching out from the bottom of my heart to ask for help. Unfortunately the company just let me go without any sort of financial help at all, so I’m struggling to pay my bills etc. Just struggling to survive really. I’m hoping that the friends & fam I made at QBirt could help me during this difficult time. I appreciate any help at all, even if it’s only $1 - anything at this point will help me.
