<div>Danielle, Socrates and their 4 children have been displaced due to a kitchen fire at their home last week in Fairfield.Socrates also suffered serious burns on his hands and face trying to put the fire out and is being treated for his injuries.

<div>The family are unable to get back into the house to get any of their personal items due to the smoke and other damage and are scrambling to find a new place to live. They have now been told contents of the house are a total loss.

<div>They would appreciate any donations made to support them in this emergency situation. As you can imagine, it's very difficult to find a place to live in these market conditions, plus they will need all new furniture, beds, etc. They are dealing with insurance and all the other moving parts and trying to figure things out as quickly as possible. The fund will also be used to secure new housing, once it's been found.
