Hola, mi nombre es Diego y viví más de 15 años en El Bolsón, Patagonia, Argentina.

Hoy, todo El Bolsón está sufriendo múltiples incendios forestales, y no se está informado adecuadamente sobre esta situación, especialmente en Europa y el resto del mundo.

Los incendios están dejando a cientos de familias sin hogar, tierras y proyectos de permacultura destruidos y bosques milenarios quemados hasta los cimientos.

No hay suficiente apoyo gubernamental para apagar los incendios, por lo que los residentes se están organizando. La gente se ha quedado sin nada, sus casas han sido quemadas y están tratando de reconstruir refugios de la nada. Personalmente, tengo amigos cuyas tierras y casas están rodeadas por el fuego.

Es por eso que estoy organizando una colecta para recaudar dinero y ayudarlos a distancia. Cualquier contribución hace la diferencia.

El dinero recaudado se destinará directamente a las personas para ayudarlas a comprar materiales y otros suministros que necesitan.

Cuando los tiempos son difíciles, podemos usar nuestras voces y el poder de la comunidad. Incluso unos pocos euros pueden hacer la diferencia, o compartir esta página y la historia.

Hello, my name is Diego and I lived for more than 15 years in El Bolsón, Patagonia, Argentina. I created this fundraising page in hope I catch your attention and your hearts.

Today, the whole of El Bolsón is suffering from multiple forest fires, that are being under reported in Europe and across the world.

The fires are leaving hundreds of families homeless, land and permaculture projects destroyed, and ancient forests burning to the ground.

There is not sufficient government support to put out the fires, so the residents are organising themselves. People have been left with nothing, homes burnt to the ground, and they are trying to reconstruct shelters from nothing. I personally have friends who’s land and homes are surrounded by fire.

This is why I am organising a collection to raise any amount possible and help them from a distance. Any contribution makes a difference and the money raised will go directly to the people to support them purchasing materials and other supplies they need.

When times are challenging we can use our voices and the power of community. Even a few euros can make a difference, or sharing this page and the story.
