I am Lorraine Scuderi, 67 yrs old. I have had 15 stents/ balloons already in me over the past 23 years. After I came back from visiting a friend this past September who was given three months to live from her Cancer, I got the biggest shock after I visited my doctor with a throat issue. I was sent for a biopsy only to have a confirmed result of Cancer of the right Tonsil. I then went to the radiologist who sent me for another biopsy
of the "R" Parotid gland and he confirmed that I also
have cancer there. So, I am lookint at 35 radiation treatments over the next 7 weeks every day.
I have been running back and forth to doctor's, Oncologist, Radiologist & every visit had a co-pay which I was not prepaired for. I was informed by the billing department that I need to have $6700.00 out of pocket expenses, not to mention the co-pays I have paid and also dental expenses I had to lay out (a little over $2000.00) + numerous other out-of-pocket expenses.
I have asked God to take me through this difficult time along with all of my friends and well wishers.
