<div>As many of you are aware, my mom passed away earlier this month. Life hasn't been the same without her around, but we're just trying to get through the early stages of it. Plans for her memorial service have been in motion, but unfortunately we hit a hiccup.

<div>As it turns out, funerals are very expensive. We've been getting by with early preparations but this might be a bit too costly to handle at the moment.
</div>

<div>Some of you may also be aware that a major factor that played in to the decline of my mom's health was the condition of her living space. The household fell into disrepair that was out of my mom's power to handle herself and relied on the landlords to maintain the property. However they neglected to maintain the property to the point that it became hazardous, along with multiple other units on the premises falling into disrepair. Mom and a couple other tenants on the premises were hospitalized due to pneumonia at similar times.

<div>After her hospitalization for double pneumonia, fluid in the lungs, and a list of other ailments caused by her living situation. Lori was then diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma. After 3 months of an immense uphill battle. Lori left us on the night of 07/04, surrounded by friends and family, listening to her favorite songs.

<div>Her memorial arrangements are our number 1 priority at this time, but we would also like to take the necessary legal action against the owners of her property, as they have already tried renting to new tenants, we would like to insure that this issue is taken care of as soon as possible, and never happens to anyone ever again.
</div>
