A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER

As founder, president and CEO of Lori's Daughter, I saw the
need to promote self-empowerment and unity within some of the world's most
disenfranchised individuals, families, and communities. Lori's Daughter was created
with the purpose of encouraging women to remain resilient and patiently
preserve. I desire everyone that comes into contact with Lori's Daughter to
live by the expression of my heart "Never give up. No one's better qualified
than you".

I founded Lori's Daughter in 2011. My vision is to meet the
needs of underserved individuals, families, and communities. To accomplish this
we need to focus on service, advocacy, and mentoring. One of Lori's Daughter
major initiative includes "My Sister's Keeper". Our services our designed to
assist people in developing and maintaining enriched and meaningful lives by
fully maximizing our full-service support system.

My mother, Lori Williams, passed away on December 20, 2009.
Science may have proclaimed that her cause of death was complications of HIV;
However I believe she passed away of a broken heart. The death of my mother is
what inspired me to become my sister's keeper.

I was born and raised
in Miami, FL. I received my Bachelor's degree in Sociology and English at the
Great Bethune-Cookman University, graduating Suma Cum Lade. I'm completing my
Master's Internship in Mental Health Counseling. I possess a love for reading,
writing, poetry, therapy, and serving her community. I volunteer within her
professional organizations, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Alpha Kappa Delta, The
Junior League of the Greater Orlando, and American Counseling Association. I am
a certified case manager, certified victim advocate, sexual abuse mentor,
Guardian Ad. Litem for Kississmee, FL and a Guardian advocate for Orange
County, FL. I have a vast experience in the mental health industry. I have played
lead roles in supervising over 25 certified case managers, connecting clients
to vital community resources, and ensuring that all needs were successfully
met. Helping women and families is my life's mission to say the least! I hope
that you will partner with me to make it a mission complete!
