Lori Lipper Hamner's Medical Support Fund

Some of you know, some of you don't, but Lori has been having thyroid-related issues for some time. In May, Lori noticed a nodule in her neck along with several other symptoms. These symptoms promoted Lori to be seen by her physician. Subsequently, she was diagnosed with right lobe papillary thyroid carcinoma (Thyroid Cancer).

On 9/26/22, Lori was seen at Barns in St Louis, Missouri. She discovered the cancer had spread to several lymph nodes in her neck, and the treatment would be more complex than initially anticipated. Lori will have to have a thyroidectomy, central neck dissection and internal jugular neck dissection. After surgery, Lori will have to complete several iodine radiation treatments in Quincy, Illinois. After the iodine radiation treatments, Lori will have to focus on the damage that the nodules have caused her neck.

Lori will be unable to work for up to 15 days after each iodine treatment. Lori will also have to make several trips to St Louis during this time. Every dollar donated will be given to Lori to help with travel expenses, bills and loss of income. Lori is always the first to help others in her community. It is time for us to help her out during this time of need!
