Medical Aid Films is a charity that Sandy was the founding chairman of for 5 years, together with Professor Eric Jaunieux, therefore very close to his heart. Their initial mission was to reduce maternal and infant mortality in the developing world, and enable free access to medical knowledge and training, through multimedia. They provide vital and life saving information, with women and children being central to their research. They have produced over 700 films available in 50 languages, using innovative media to create a world where everyone can enjoy healthy lives.
