My sister Brenda and her husband Ruben Lopez, my niece and nephews Sophia, Marco, Cristiano have lost their home .
October 18,
Thank you for all those whom have contributed toward this effort in helping my sister, brother in law and niece and nephews to rebuild and for the financial support through this loss. We have received so many donations that In fact we have had to re donate truck loads of items to other families in need. With that being said if anyone is interested in donating items we would like them to be donated to the local evacuation centers to help the other families in need. The donations along with the renters insurance they will be given the opportunity to start and get the kids that much sooner to normalcy given the circumstances.

I am happy to share that I have received an abundant amount of calls checking in on my sister and Ruben. They stayed with me when they evacuated their home and I would like to report that they have been relocated into a comfortable, fully furnished apartment through Rubens employer, Greystar. They have received so many blessings from so many people. This temporary housing has been offered for as long as they need, but we are most thrilled that they will be moving back into the rental home where the kids grew up, within the next week or so. In additon they have received many gift cards, cash, care packages and many donations. Friends will even be providing furniture for them to give them a good start. Brendas employer Basin Street has also helped so much.
We are comforted with the support my sister and family has received as we see so many people have lost their lives and continue to see the fire is still not under control and we pray for containment to stop. We see there are many other families hoping to stay afloat in this time. We thank you for all of your support and hope that all the other families going through this are graced with love and support and know that we are all here for one another through these difficult times.
