My brother-in-law Lonnie Sturgill was diagnosis with Stage 4 Lung and Rectal Cancer.
As you know when you or a loved one is fighting cancer, you’re often faced with not enough time or money. There are appointments after appointments, extended recovery times, and bills piling up.
Lonnie has been a great husband, father, brother and grandfather. He has contributed to many causes with his band the "Six Pac" and still continues to work with them when his health allows it. Just recently Lonnie has had to have a port put in because his veins are weak and they wanting to move forward with his chemo. Their goal is to go aggressively after this cancer. He will be doing extensive chemo treatments. And as you know the road ahead will be difficult for him.
This page has been established to help Lonnie and Vicki (his wife) with the difficult road ahead. Lonnie would never ask for anything like this, but as his sister-in-law, I have set up this campaign to assist with expenses and to keep you updated on how he is doing. Funds raised will be used for uncovered medical bills, travel expenses and any other expenses so that Lonnie can concentrate on getting better and not worry about the bills.
