Longmeadow Pipeline Awareness Group

For the past three years members of the Longmeadow Pipeline Awareness Group have objected to construction of a gas meter station and high-pressure pipeline in Longmeadow. Despite the opposition of local, state, and federal elected officials as well as a sizable percentage of town residents , Eversource Gas recently announced their intention to submit plans for the pipeline construction in mid-August of 2021 to the Energy Facilities Siting Board to obtain permitting for this terrible idea. Our pipeline group needs donations to underwrite the purchase of signs, paid ads, and other informational materials to educate the community.
