Clarence Reese Was such a loving person. If he Loved you, you knew it! Whether he told you or showed you in his own special way. Blood or not he was Our brother & He meant something to each and every one of Us. To most he was a guardian angel. He protected everything & everyone he Loved at any cost. I’m telling you, he was such a character. He knew how to be serious at times and he also knew when to joke around. As a friend he was also very dear to many & He always made time to be with his family and friends. To us all He was a very loyal and kindhearted Brother & friend and we will all Miss him More than Any Words could ever express.
Clarence had a seizure on Tuesday, January 9th 2017 and although Clarence put up a great fight, he lost his battle with Epilepsy.
This loss is a tough one to except, but We Will keep Clarence’s Memory close and in our hearts and we are asking that all of you help us spread the word about Epilepsy and any monetary donations that you are able to give in order to help us provide Clarence with the proper funeral service.
No donation is too small, whatever you can contribute will be a blessing. Clarence’s Mom (Vernita Potts) is a wonderful, caring, hard working Woman and our goal is to help with everything we can. Clarence was the friend, Son, Nephew, Brother, Uncle and the glue that kept our family together. Our hope is that We can give him a funeral that exemplifies all that he was to us and the rest of our family and friends.
Epilepsy is a chronic disorder, the hallmark of which is recurrent, unprovoked seizures. A person is diagnosed with epilepsy if they have two unprovoked seizures (or one unprovoked seizure with the likelihood of more) that were not caused by some known and reversible medical condition like alcohol withdrawal or extremely low blood sugar.
The seizures in epilepsy may be related to a brain injury or a family tendency, but often the cause is completely unknown. The word "epilepsy" does not indicate anything about the cause of the person's seizures or their severity.
Many people with epilepsy have more than one type of seizure and may have other symptoms of neurological problems as well. Sometimes EEG (electroencephalogram) testing, clinical history, family history, and outlook are similar among a group of people with epilepsy. In these situations, their condition can be defined as a specific epilepsy syndrome.
