Long Wittenham pre-school trustees and staff group are asking for your support. You may have seen in the news that many pre-schools are having to close due to an increase in the national minimum wage, however funded hours for children do not match this increase. Couple that with the leftover impact of covid, where we could not recoup funds, and we remain in deficit as we approach the end of this academic year.

Long Wittenham Pre-School is a registered charity, it is not for profit, and therefore we work tirelessly to ensure we stay afloat.

We reach the end of the 2022-23 academic year being £3,000 short – we are hoping that if anyone has used the Pre-School over the years, have younger children who may join us or have a vested interest in early years education that you might be willing to help us?

Could you help us get over the line this year so we can claw back the deficit from covid? We appreciate times are hard now, but we felt it was worth an ask – as every little helps!
