Long Live Kathy

Hello everyone, C.J., Katrina and her husband, Charles, here.  If you don't know us, you may know our wonderful mother, Kathy Kimmel Russ.  As you may also know, she has been bravely combating the awful demon that is cancer for the past 3 years.  After 58 infusions of 10 different types of chemo and an invasive surgery, the doctors have stated that they have done all they can do in their power, and the rest of the fight is up to us.  We have not been known to give up, and mom has already made it past the 2 year mark that most in her situation have not, so onward we trek.  Unfortunately, the majority of alternatives to which we have access are not covered by insurance.  Therefore, we humbly come to you, the amazing community with which we have been blessed, for help.  There are some very reputable, local naturopathic doctors that offer promising treatment options that we would very much appreciate the opportunity to utilize.  This goes along with the continuing consumption of organic vegetables, herbs, and supplements that have kept mom's organs surprisingly healthy and completely clear from the cancer throughout the barrage of chemotherapies that she has endured.  We are estimating the total needs will accumulate to around $15,000, with hopes that it will not exceed that amount.  With your help, we would like to start treatment as soon as possible as she is currently receiving nothing besides pain management in palliative care.  We thank God for the miraculous sustained life given to mom thus far, and those who have helped have earned out eternal gratitude as well.  If you are able to help us, any funds that could be spared for naturopathic treatments, additional doctor visits, and organic dieting would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you, and God bless.
