Long live Gaby and may God pay you back!

Thursday October 10th was a very normal day for 17 years old Gabriela. She had just completed her exercise routine when she felt something was not right and expressed her concerns to her parents. They took this very seriously and immediately took her to the ER. After several procedures, the doctors found out that her heart  had grown 3 times bigger on the left side and had shrank on the right side. Upon further investigation, they noticed she a had blood clot in her lungs that was causing her massive breathing problems.

In the process to get rid of the blood clot through medication, both of her lungs got filled with blood, her BP dropped to 25 and she went through a thrombosis and pulmonary hypertension. After draining all her blood and giving her blood transfusions for 3 days, she has been in a better path to recovery.

By the mercies of God, Gaby has been recovering well through the administration of very costly medicine. Even though she's now attached to a wheelchair and her life as she knew it has completed changed, she's still very grateful to be alive and hopes to be able come back to her normal life soon.

With your monetary help, Gaby's parents will be able to continue to pay for the very expensive medication and medical procedures that are still pending!

Jueves 10 de octubre fue un día muy normal para Gabriela, de 17 años. Acababa de completar su rutina de ejercicios cuando sintió que algo no estaba bien y expresó sus preocupación a sus padres. Ellos lo tomaron muy en serio e inmediatamente la llevaron a la sala de emergencias. Después de varios procedimientos, los médicos descubrieron que su corazón había crecido 3 veces más en el lado izquierdo y se había encogido en el lado derecho. Tras una investigación adicional, notaron que tenía un coágulo de sangre en los pulmones que le estaba causando problemas respiratorios masivos.

En el proceso para deshacerse del coágulo de sangre a través de medicamentos, sus dos pulmones se llenaron de sangre, su presión arterial bajó a 25 y sufrió una trombosis e hipertensión pulmonar. Después de drenar toda su sangre y administrarle transfusiones durante 3 días, ella ha estado mejorando bastante.

Por la misericordia de Dios, Gaby se ha ido recuperando bien mediante la administración de medicamentos muy costosos. A pesar de que ahora está atada a una silla de ruedas y su vida no es igual, todavía está muy agradecida de estar viva y tiene muchas esperanzas de poder volver a su vida normal pronto.
