Hello Friends, Patriots, Artists, Enemies, Lovers, and fans of music and personal growth, My name is Zachary S, Phillips, more recently you may recognize me from all the annoying spam posts I make across your Facebook about my new record, and my recent reinvention of myself.
I just release my first record ever that I made every decision, played almost every note, wrote every song snd sang every lyric alone in my place during the pandemic. I never realized how stifled I was until I made this record. I had fun writing and recording every single song. And every song is about something special to me that I learned growing up. Songs about Grandpa, Grandma, Looking up to my older brother when I was a child, Songs about the road, songs about current events, The Ukraine, the way my Rachel makes me feel inside when I haven't seen her in awhile, and she's standing right there but it feels like she's miles away.
The record I made I absolutely love, and I hope you do to.
I messaged the guitar player from a very successful band that Ive known since before they were huge. He was so warm and I could feel that he genuinely cared when he asked me "How I was doing?" After a quick catch up I asked him if I could email him the files of my music so he could check out my new thing. He sent over the email address right away, and I spent the afternoon emailing the management group for this band all of my mixes and some of my art.
Later that night I got an email from this management group telling me how impressed they were with my songs, and the fact that I mixed half the record out of necessity because I could not afford Paul anymore. They expressed interest in helping me by doing a collaboration with their big group, They told me they could make it there mission to expand my base, increase my sales, streams, and get me working and playing shows on the road (which is were I am supposed to be).
None of this falls under"them managing me". This is a pay to play, services rendered deal. Anyone that thinks this kind of work should come for free has no experience or needs to be on a different medication. It's 2025, and things cost money, period. Dennis Casey is an amazing guitar player, and believes in my project. I have toured North America with him several times in my life and I can remember when FM was a bar band in LA. One of their first tours was with The Gadjits on the east coast. We played for empty clubs until the day 3 mini vans pulled up infront of Phantasmagoria in DC. Every member of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones paid the cover and came specifically to check both of our bands out. 6 months later all 3 bands were on tour together in Canada. Dennis and I have history, and his reputation as a professional is unfuckwithable.
They told me for $500 USD we could get the ball rolling, I am positive this management team knows what they are doing, and if you DM me I would be glad to share with you who these people are but for the sake of this go fund me campaign, I am going to leave them out of the add.
I need to spend the rest of this year working closely with these guys, increasing my numbers, expanding my base, playing shows, touring would be nice.
My number 1 priority is landing a sync deal for a podcast, movie, or a commercial. 1 sync can pay as much as $10,000.
This Go Fund me campaign is designed to help me Zachary S. Phillips, raise the funding I will need to pay this famous management team their going rate. I am Hoping $1,500 USD would be enough to cover 1 full year of their services. Within that year, my #1 priority is securing at least 1 sync deal because I desperately need the capitol.
