London Windrush Day of Action

London Windrush Day of Action is a national Day of Action protesting the treatment of the Windrush Generation and their families and demanding justice for the for them and related communities impacted by the hostile environment including those facing threats of or actual detention or deportation . It is taking place in six English cities simultaneously, London, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham and Manchester. The London organising group is seeking to raise funds for banners and materials to create them, printing of leaflets, costs of a photographer and film maker to document the London event and travel expenses for people to attend. We are planning a short march from Downing Street followed by a banner drop over Westminster Bridge.
