SUBC cycle from London to Paris in 24 hours!

Tax deductible
This summer, a team of 23 students from Southampton University Boat Club will be cycling from London to Paris in 24 hours to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.  The 242 mile (390 kilometer) journey will take us from London to Newhaven, where we will catch the evening Ferry to Dieppe on the 9th July, through to Paris, where we aim to arrive in the late afternoon of the 10th.

This team of driven individuals have all committed to this immense challenge, which will not only be a enormous personal accomplishment for the team members, but has the added benefit of raising money for crucial research. With the backing and support of Breast Cancer Now, our training is underway and we hope to raise as much money for this fantastic charity before our departure. Of course any donations, however small, are hugely appreciated.

More information about Breast Cancer Now: We’re Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s largest breast cancer charity – and we’re dedicated to funding research into this devastating disease. This year, around 55,000 women and 350 men will hear the words ‘it’s breast cancer’. And this month, nearly 1,000 people will have their lives cut short by the disease. That’s someone every 45 minutes. We believe that if we all act now, by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live – and live well. It’s time to act.
