Since September 2023 Chris (Riggy) has been living with GBM, a rare & aggressive type of brain cancer. Life-enhancing treatment for his condition is only available abroad in Germany and comes at a huge cost. Thanks to Riggy's own resilience and incredible support so far, he has been able to raise money to make a real difference to his quality of life which has offered him precious time with his family. As he continues his journey, it's essential to maintain the funding of his treatment and prolong the time he has with his family.

To help support these ongoing efforts, a team of us from ITV will be participating in the iconic London to Brighton bike ride on Sunday 15th June. This is a challenging 87km ride with a total ascent of 1,060m, so it's certainly no easy feat!

Our goal is to make a meaningful contribution to the fundraising for our friend and colleague, Riggy. So any donations and support will be greatly appricated and make a real difference to his life. You can read about his story and jouney so far here.
