London To Brighton 2022

Twenty enthusiastic employees from Fileder Filter Systems have signed up to take on the famous London to Brighton Cycle Ride on the 11th September 2022, in order to raise money for sheltering and feeding homeless individuals in the local community. Maidstone Churches Winter Shelter are an amazing charity that deserve all the help they can receive. Throughout the journey this page will have multiple updates from different members of the team as we train in the sun and rain, fundraise and focus on smashing our targets!

Fileder does their part in supporting the community and environment, in 2021 Fileder supported Maidstone Churches Winter Shelter over the winter period by donating 40 nights of support for 40 people, December saw Fileder plant 2021 trees locally to raise and help environmental awareness and 2022 will see a local litter pick covering 40 miles. Now we shift our focus back to help Maidstone Churches Winter Shelter for the upcoming season as part of our company 40 year celebrations!

More information about Maidstone Churches Winter Shelter: Maidstone Churches Winter Shelter provides a hot meal, hospitality and overnight accommodation in safe, warm surroundings for up to 15 Street Homeless in Maidstone during the 3 coldest months of the year. To do this we use 7 different church buildings in the town, 5 temporary staff and approximately 300 local volunteers. We work with agencies and Maidstone Borough Council, supporting them in their efforts to provide long term accommodation for the street homeless.
