Londa Clark, Harrison, and kittens

It is a miracle Londa Clark, her son Harrison, and her two kittens lived through the flood in Dickinson, TX. They had water up to their chins waiting to be rescued from their home. They almost drowned and are in shock. They lost everything in their house. Thankfully, they are safe and recovering, staying with friends from their church. Thank you for all of your love for our dear, old friends.

So that everyone knows who I am and my associatiion to Londa, here is my story:

My name is Anne Rudnicki and I am from the Clear Lake City area. I currently live in Friendswood, but have lived in the area 35 out of my 45 years. 

I have known Londa (and her son Harrison) for over ten years. Londa is one of my life mentors and I love her dearly. I began this GoFundMe page with Jackie Martin, another one of my dearest friends of over 10 years. 

The funds we raise her for Londa will go directly to Londa. Londa is currently living with friends and still recovering from her spider bite and loss of all of her belongings and home, and she has not been able to withdraw the funds from this campaign to her account. I have been getting non-stop emails from GoFundMe about the campaign saying they will return all of the money we have rasied if we do not withdraw the funds, so I have withdrawn the funds to my bank account and will be writing Londa a check for the exact amount (less the administrative fees GoFundMe keeps) as soon as the money is available in my account. 

My goal is to a) not lose the money because GoFundMe takes it back and b) make it as easy as possible for Londa to get the money with no extra hassle because she is barely keeping her head above water (PUN INTENDED!)
