In Memory of Lomumba Tito Eman

My father, Lomumba Tito Rwong Eman, was a brave, intelligent, and caring man who loved his family. He believed in the goodness of others and the importance of a strong  community.


After a four-year battle with cancer, my father passed away on March 22, 2018 at 12:45 p.m. in Atlanta, Georgia. He left behind my mother (Martha  Kabashi), our dog Bobby, and six children:  Aliab,  Amer,  Eman,  Agirie, Tito , and Raimon.


For months at a time for over three years,  my father would seek treatment  in Atlanta, Georgia while my mother and siblings stayed in Canada.  Although leaving his family  for large periods at a time was difficult,  he did so in  the pursuit of greater health and the goal of someday soon, being in full health and able to play in the park with my youngest brother, Tito.


In addition to the alternative cancer treatment my father sought in Atlanta, he would occasionally seek treatment in Canada in order to be closer to our family. As evidence of his determination,  while fighting cancer, my father continued to raise and love us unconditionally.


In addition to being my dad, Lomumba was an incredible symbol of hope for those around  him. He was always ready to  selflessly provide compassion and strength to anyone that needed it.


My father, Lomumba Tito Rwong Eman, will always be remembered as a peaceful and humble man.  





All of the funds raised  will contribute to the overall expenses of my father's funeral.  Receiving support  from friends and family is essential and very helpful. Our goal of 10,000 is substantial however, I am confident that with the help of our community,  it is attainable.   


Through our stories and memories, my father will live forever.
