Hello friends! As you may or may not be aware I have been building up my business Blue Sage Bodyworks for the last 2 years. I have been doing therapeutic body work for a steadily increasing clientele and I have to say that I am incredibly grateful for such an amazing opportunity. I truly love the work that I do! With that being said I have been given the chance to learn an amazing therapy technique known as lomi lomi massage. This technique is an ancient Hawaiian healing art practiced for hundreds of years by kahuna(master practitioners) and kapuna(elders). These Hawaiians were reveared bearers of the light of knowledge that surrounded this spiritual work and passed down this sacred gift from generation to generation. components of this healing practice include pule(prayer) alae(cleansing with salt) ho'oponopono(psychological cleansing and counseling) ha(breath) massage/bodywork and movement of energy/mana(potential life force). All of these combined with the aloha(loving intention) of the practitioner create a healing experience that knows no boundaries. This workshop is a 11 day immersion where i would be learning hands on these wonderful techniques. I feel so strongly that bringing this to Blue Sage Bodyworks will not only give us a unique edge in the bodywork field but also that it will help me to heal myself. This fund raiser is to help me get the funds that i need to pay for tuition, transportation and accommodation.
