Lolly's SkillCorps Trip

Hey there, you generous world changers! My name is Lolly, and I'd like to first thank you for taking a moment to read my story :)

For those of you who know me, you know that I'm a traveler, a roaming spirit, and a photographer. One of my biggest passions in life is traveling and experiencing the different people and cultures of the world... my photography is evidence of that. My art thrives in telling their stories; capturing their real moments and beauty. I have discovered that there are a lot of stories out there that are waiting to be told!

That's where you come in.

I am fundraising for an opportunity I have received to do some work with the non-profit organization, Global Autism Project. This July I will be traveling to Indonesia for two weeks as a volunteer photographer.

The Global Autism Project works across the world, promoting the acceptance and integration of people with autism by training local educators in culturally relevant, sustainable practices. Millions of children with autism have no access to education, and are often hidden from their communities. Teachers have little or no access to proper training that would support autistic students, and families have no support networks.

In Jakarta, Indonesia, there is a school called Rumah Tiara. This school is led my 2 local women, committed to changing this reality in their country. They are advocates, skilled teachers, and models for change.

I am traveling to tell their stories; to capture the beautiful moments of the passionate teachers and their students. My photographs will not only be given to The Global Autism Project, but also given to the school, shared in Jakarta and will serve as a message of hope to families around the world.

Will you join me?! Will you give to support me in capturing what this organization is doing and the stories of the incredible people they are helping?!

If you'd like more details on my trip or the Global Autism Project, feel free to message me! You can also visit theglobalautismproject.org for more information:)

Thank you for changing the world with us!
