Lolly has been in my life for 16 years. She has been the link that has kept me going through the ups and downs in life. Whilst I have been trying to come back from serious illness she has kept me going.
Well, this week Lolly had an accident and has damaged her extensor tendon and had to go into hospital. Due to my illness we have used up all our spare savings and we are now at our lowest point. I was given a 50/50 chance of survival on the operating table with a septic gallbladder and sepsis. Then I found out I needed both the corneas replaced in my eyes.

This January I had 3 operations on my left eye and now I will need another this autumn on my right. This is why all my savings have gone, as I usually have a spare account ready for emergency like this.
We are looking to pay the bill for her stay in hospital as being 19 years old now vet bills are not covered. Also, with COVID and my ill health we are struggling.

Once we have covered the hospital bill I would like to donate any extra to a charitable organisation that helps key workers that haven't been mentioned so much.
