Lola Rios' Support Fund

Our friend Lola was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She has undergone a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and will continue with chemotherapy therapy and hormonal therapy and reconstructive surgery. Time off to undergo treatment is essential in Lola’s path to recovery. She has been off of work since March 2018, and will continue to be off until the beginning of September 2019.

As most of you know, while battling cancer Lola is also dealing with the loss of her son, Enrique Rios. She is dealing with the stress of a lengthy trial to get justice for her son, and for those responsible to reveal the location of his body. It is unimaginable to deal with these circumstances.

Lola has and will need to continue to take time of work to complete her cancer treatments and to attend the court dates for the trial.
