Our sweet and beautiful Lola is fighting the battle of her life. She, her husband, and their daugter need our help. As Chad's Sister, Terri Broussard, as well as myself struggled with words, we agreed that Chad and Lola's niece, Alania Broussard said it beautifully.....

"Friends and family.. someone so very near and dear to our hearts is fighting a battle that we cannot fathom. Aaron's uncle Chad Wilber and his beautiful wife, Lola, have been given the news that we fear the most as spouses. Lola has been tirelessly battling ovarian cancer over the last few years. Yet, had you met her.. I bet you would have never guessed. Her smile never faltered, in the public eye. Her faith never faded. This morning, Lola went in for yet another surgery and it was discovered that her cancer had spread beyond treatment. Lola has been sent home on hospice to rest and spend her last days with her family, as we would all wish. However, this proves to be a very trying time for Chad and Lola. Chad has been doing his very best to spend every second allowed with his lovely wife and their daughter. As we all know, life goes on even if we are personally sinking into darkness. Chad is putting it all on the line, his time at work will suffer greatly. Their daughter will still have to start school in a few days. The lights must stay on, the bills must still be paid. Aaron and I are going out on a limb, we are asking for help. If you can spare a dime or a dollar, we will be eternally grateful. If you cannot afford a monetary contribution; please keep Chad, Lola, and their sweet daughter Isabell heavy in your prayers. Pray that the Lord allows Chad and Isabell the opportunity to spend quality time with Lola. Pray that Lola finds peace and comfort in this time to come. Pray that the Lord wraps his arms around Chad and Isabell and helps them to cope and heal."
