Loki's fight against Neurological FIP

Donation protected
I have put our goal back to 2 thousand, as we are halfway through treatment and that is the estimated cost to hopefully finish. We are so grateful for the help we have received as we would not have been able to start or continue treatment.

Hello all! My name is Jaime, and I appreciate you taking the time to read my post. I'm reaching out to anyone who can help me and my kitten Loki.
Loki has had quite the journey in his few months of life. Found on the side of the road in a box with his siblings, it was determined Loki was born without eyelids and the lovely rescue who found him got him the help he needed creating new eyelids for him. A few weeks after is when I met him and he stole my families hearts. We took him home and helped him adjust to his new life. I started to notice from the moment he left the cage that he was walking funny, almost as if he was unsure of what he could see. This made sense to us as Loki is cross eyed . As that first week went on he would only eat out of my hand but he was socializing with the other cats and us, and he was trying to play. He would sleep more often but we ended up deciding it was the adjustment period. We had never seen Loki play and run like a regular kitten, so we really just assumed he was made this way.
Soon Into our second week together I noticed his hind end was seemingly different than my other cats, and saw he was having difficulties moving properly. His balance was a mess, he was sleeping all day other than when I got him up to eat and play, his liter was a mess and he very often just went to the bathroom where he was laying, as he knew he was un able to make it.
Yesterday he tumbled down the stairs after loosing his balance on the second step and that's when I took action to find out what was going on. He weighed kn at 2.4 kg at 6 months old
After blood test and scans and the AMAZING help of this group. The vet diagnosed him with Neurological FIP, an "untreatable" infection that kills so many kittens. We are his only chance.
I have done as much research as I can and have found that we will be moving forward with injections! He had his first dose last night, and I am already seeing improvement in his energy
The form of treatment required to treat coronavirus in cats is NOT approved for Vet use in Canada, therefore we need to oder it in, and treat him ourselves.
As I am sure you can tell the price for this type of treatment can get very costly. For this I am reaching out, for any kind of donation towards Loki's treatments!

Any form of donation or even just a message for support, it all helps us!
Thank you all so much for reading this and supporting us in our Journey!
Let's get Loki back to normal kitten life!
