Dog Training and Lots of LOVE for Loki

This is Loki and he's a five-year-old corgi-jack russell mix (Cojack!) who we adopted from the shelter over four years ago. We knew he had anxiety from his last home because he was scared of men and feet. But now he loves to snuggle, get belly rubs, and go on adventures.

However, recent experiences have had him more anxious than ever. He needs to learn to get used to people again but it will take a lot of time and patience. Guests can no longer come over because his guarding instinct is also higher than ever. With my mom's surgery, he hates when anybody comes near her and barks at my dad when he tries to give him love.

After he almost bit someone who was sitting close to my mom, we knew he needed professional intervention or to fly internationally to live with his mom who has moved away recently. If she cannot afford to have him come to her, we would have to give him away. With his anxiety, history, and the trust bond he has created with us, we know that process would be far too traumatic for him (and us!) than would be good for him. He has every possibility to thrive and giving him away could darken his possibilities of living a fulfilling life in a loving home. We need to keep him safe.

We have come to ask for help giving our buddy the brightest future and fulfilling life. The costs for this training will be high but we know it will be worth it. We are also equipped and devoted to furthering his training and keeping it going while not under the careful tutorage of a professional.

Please help us keep Loki with our family. Every little bit helps. Every dollar will go into the training, treats, and rotation of toys to keep our little hunter bright and happy. He's a dedicated chewer despite his size!
