Logan's Thai Internship

Dear Friends near & far,
My daughter, Logan (CAC 2015 and UCONN 2019), has been experiencing an Internship in Thailand in the capacity as an Art Teacher as well as aiding in the relocation, set-up and work with an outreach program that works with children and families with disfigurement and disabilities in Cambodia and Northern Thailand. The children in the program are of families impacted by agent orange from Viet Nam. Logan works with this organization that teaches these children art skills to make products to bring income to their families.
Originally 75% of this program was funded by UCONN scholarships she applied for and won during the recent 2 years. They allowed her to accumulate the funds for 2 years. Her funds enabled her work from May 18 to July 12. The Thai Government will allow her a 30 day extension but her expenses in housing and transportation (90 min each way from her host family) for the coming days for her to stay on until August 14 are about $2700. Her father and we have been able to put together $700. We are seeking your help for the remaining $2000 that I can transer into her bank account to pay the family who arranges her transportation, housing and meals.
I have done my best to always help others with these fundraising campaigns as well as in physical help whenever asked. I hope from amid my over 1500 FaceBook friends, at least 200 of you can find $10 to send my way to help my daughter continue this incredible work. Thank you for your time, consideration and ultimately, I hope, your support. Have a wonderful July and August for my many friends celebrating the school summer vacationing with families.
