Logan's bassoon fund

Logan has been learning and playing bassoon since October 10, 2017, his own choice. It took us a few weeks to find a bassoon to rent, then another couple of weeks to find a teacher to teach him. Now he plays in the school band for 3.5 hours a week, takes 1 hour private lessons, and practices it diligently everyday. He loves it, and has a goal to join a band that will play the National Anthem at the Opening Ceremony of 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

We are very happy that Logan has found the instrument of his calling. His rental bassoon is very limited for his growth now, so we are looking into buying him one, new or used. A  student bassoon starts about $4000.

Logan's 11th birthday is coming up (March 8) and all he wants is a bassoon, so we are starting this "bassoon fund" for him. We have helped him put his Christmas money and Chinese New Year money into this fund, and will continue to put money into it, with your gifts If we can raise $2000, we will match the fund and buy him a bassoon of his own.
